Sticky Note

I apologize for my recent gloominess. I promise my next blog will be less egocentric and loathsome regarding existence. Thank you for your indulgence.

Gloomy, you say? This one might cheer you up:

A friend gave me this group's CD over the weekend. The sounds remind me of the group "Boston" and its lead singer Brad Delp, who passed away last year. Look for the track "It Doesn't Seem to Matter".

The drummer hits hard, just like the old days; it's right in the pocket, no bullshit.

I must be getting even more senile. I actually enjoy this rock group!

Thanks, the band isn't bad. In fact, I like them. My problem is their sound isn't original, but Boston? Geez dude you need to get out more! They don't sound like Boston, but they do sound like the early nineties rock bands like NIN and Soudgarden. The drum part on the track that automatically plays when you go to the site is a complete Stephen Perkins (of Jane's Addiction) rip-off. But hey, I like those groups, too.
